Gar Mooney (born 1908) was a graveyard caretaker. He helped Milissa Wilcox to scare her twin sister Arlene Wilcox away. He was the first to inform the town of the ghost and was beleived to be a good friend of Arlene. This was not true, however, for he had designed the costume for the Ghost Witch of Old Salem .
